Over the past few weeks, I participated in the International Baccalaureate Programme Leader Training. The experience gave me a deeper appreciation for the ways schools bring the IB philosophy to life and how evaluators can support schools in their growth journeys. I'm grateful for the learning and look forward to contributing meaningfully to the IB community. #IBEducator #IBEN #LifelongLearning

Teachers remove barriers to learning to enable every student to develop, pursue and achieve challenging personal learning goals. (0403-05)

This year, I’ve been focusing on how to better remove barriers to learning in my classroom, ensuring every student can pursue meaningful and challenging personal goals. During our Week Without Walls trip to Cambodia, I watched our students bring the IB Learner Profile to life — showing curiosity, courage, empathy, and reflection at every turn. Experiences like these go beyond academics; they shape internationally minded young people ready to make a positive difference in the world. #IBLearnerProfile #InternationalMindedness #WeekWithoutWalls

This season with the ISNS High School Girls’ Soccer Team was about more than just trophies — it was about building a culture grounded in fun, camaraderie, and grit. Watching our players grow together, support one another, and honor their essential agreements has been a true reflection of the IB spirit of collaboration, open communication, and mutual respect. #IBCulture #Teamwork #StudentDevelopment #ACAMIS

One goal I had attending Future of Learning Hong Kong was to better understand how AI could transform learning experiences. Engaging with educators across different contexts expanded my thinking and fueled new ideas I’m excited to bring back to my students. 4.1 Change Agent Coaches inspire educators and leaders to use technology to create equitable and ongoing access to high-quality learning.

I had the opportunity to attend the 21CLHK Conference in Hong Kong, focusing on the evolving role of AI in education. Staying connected to emerging innovations reminds me how important it is for educators to be lifelong learners.
